Watch “The Virginity of Mary” on YouTube – The Bible Skeptic

This is an excellent video on the age of Mary. About half-way, it talks about her age when she conceived Jesus in the gospels. The evidence presented makes it undeniable that she was very young by modern standards, but also potentially, she was PRE-PUBESCENT. The video uses linguistic evidence, much like I did on my videos on the ages of Rebekah and Mary.

    assalaamu alaikum varahmatullahi vabarakaathu.
Can you reccomend me any sites that provide accurate info about islam, refutations, etc. It doesnt need to be an exhaustive list, just a subjective list of your favourites and reccomended. Also is there a description of jesus given in islam? Also what is your personal opinion on how the historical jesus looked like? Theres this whole issue of how jesus actually looked like. The earliest depictions i heard were of a beardless jesus with a staff as some sort of wand. Hows your wife and your daughter? Forgive me if this is inapropriate in the blog but im just curious. 🙂

Keep giving you the golden goosehttps://diploma.iou.edu.gm/opencampus/

In regards to refutation, I enjoy Bassamhttps://www.letmeturnthetables.com/

      Ijazhttps://callingchristians.com/

But you on’t need them f you learn. For example we have a multitude of haith commentaries but they’re not translated. While annoyying that means you will have to work a bit if you want access to all that knowledge.

      2. “Also is there a description of jesus given in islam? ”

Yes, he(as) was dark-skinned, lanky hair a bit past his shoulders and a broad chest even though you’ll commonly hear red-skinned because Ibn Abbas(ra/) made a mistake with the Dajjal’s description here are the ahadith:

      Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest. Moses was of brown complexion, straight hair and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3438: Book 60, Hadith 109: Vol. 4, Book 55, Hadith 648)

      Narrated Salim from his father:
No, By Allah, the Prophet (ﷺ) did not tell that Jesus was of red complexion but said, “While I was asleep circumambulating the Ka`ba (in my dream), suddenly I saw a man of brown complexion and lank hair walking between two men, and water was dropping from his head. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ The people said, ‘He is the son of Mary.’ Then I looked behind and I saw a red-complexioned, fat, curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a bulging out grape. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ They replied, ‘He is Ad-Dajjal.’ The one who resembled to him among the people, was Ibn Qatar.” (Az-Zuhri said, “He (i.e. Ibn Qatan) was a man from the tribe Khuza`a who died in the pre-lslamic period.”) Sahih al-Bukhari 3441 : Book 60, Hadith 111: Vol. 4, Book 55, Hadith 650)

      Narrated `Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned the Masih Ad-Dajjal in front of the people saying, Allah is not one-eyed while Masih Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye and his eye looks like a bulging out grape. While sleeping near the Ka`ba last night, I saw in my dream a man of brown color the best one can see amongst brown color and his hair was long that it fell between his shoulders. His hair was lank and water was dribbling from his head and he was placing his hands on the shoulders of two men while circumambulating the Ka`ba. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ They replied, ‘This is Jesus, son of Mary.’ Behind him I saw a man who had very curly hair and was blind in the right eye, resembling Ibn Qatan (i.e. an infidel) in appearance. He was placing his hands on the shoulders of a person while performing Tawaf around the Ka`ba. I asked, ‘Who is this? ‘They replied, ‘The Masih, Ad-Dajjal.’ ” (Sahih al-Bukhari 3439, 3440 : Book 60, Hadith 110: Vol. 4, Book 55, Hadith 649)

So Allah hu alim but it sounds like he(as) probably looks something like this from the description:

      3. Hows your wife and your daughter?

    A. How come the whole story about prophet falling in love with zaynab and wishing she would divorce zayd was accepyed by yasir qadi? Im not exactly familiar with the details about the episode so can you explain why it is not accepted? Is it some misinterpretations made by some narrator? Can you go into alot more detail on that episode?
    B. Is the role of the messiah the same in judaism as in islam? Who the hell is elijah? In the bible, its mentioned that hajar is abraham’s pbuh slave but in islam, she is said to be married to him. Which is more accurate historically?

No idea he will usually explain his position but he had a lot of imo weak “we’re not sure but…” opinions in his Seerah (for example him agreeing with Maria on Surah Tahreem coming down because he thought it “made more sense” then the honey which actually has an authentic chain)

      B. Is the role of the messiah the same in judaism as in islam?
Uh in a general sense of thingns

      C. “Who the hell is elijah?”
      Prophet

      D. “In the bible, its mentioned that hajar is Abraham’s pbuh slave but in islam, she is said to be married to him. Which is more accurate historically?”

One would not argue this on a historical basis as from that perspective there is no historical proof for Ibrahim(as) (note this does not mean someone doesn’t exist) there are no contemporary writing from him, people who knew him etc.

Next Hajar was first a concubine and then married in Islam (note we are always more right than them) She was given to Sarah who then gave her to Ibrahim(as) because she was infertile and they wanted a child:

      Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “The Prophet (ﷺ) Abraham migrated with Sarah. The people (of the town where they migrated) gave her Ajar (i.e. Hajar). Sarah returned and said to Abraham, “Do you know that Allah has humiliated that pagan and he has given a slave-girl for my service?”

jazakallahu khair. Can you explain the context of the zaynab situation. Can you explain the reasons why its unauthentic amd can you quote some well known and trustworthy muslim scholars opinion on the issue? How come there are some who accept the story as authentic? Can you go into detaik about that situation? May Allah reward you. Im not exactly famikar with the whole story so i hope inshaallah you can explain it to the best of your ability.
