As-salaam alaikum. As the mission of this blog is to spread knowledge, whether about Islam or comparative religion, I am now encouraging blog readers to become contributors. If you are interested in becoming a contributor, please contact me. For now, only Muslim contributors will be allowed, but I am open to the idea of having non-Muslim contributors as well. Only those who are seriously interested in intellectual discussions will be allowed. If you volunteer to be a contributor, please follow the guidelines below:
- Respect the sacred. There is to be no blasphemy against Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He), the Prophets, the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
- No obscene language should be used when publishing articles.
- Be professional and cite all sources using the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition.
- Sources should be credible and reliable. Refrain from using sources like Wikipedia.
If I think of other guidelines, I will add them going forward.
I would like to welcome brother John Stewart as a contributor to the blog! I look forward to his insight and knowledge on a variety of topics.

Salaam alaikum brother Faiz, thank you for the very kind introduction! I really enjoy reading your work and am grateful to Allah swt for our long discussions online which extended into almost one and a half decade, which alhamdullilah played a big role in me coming to Islaam last year. I unfortunately don’t have time to post much, but definitely enjoy reading your work and the work of others. Jazakhallah khaeir!

Hello friend, this is Luke. I am a Christian and was recommend to speak to by Qasim. He let me know you are very knowledgeable in both Islam and Christianity. I did see a discussion you had with Catholic apologist Luiz Dizon not too long ago. Thus, I wanted to know if you were willing to talk about setting up some healthy/friendly discussions or debates?
As far as topics are concerned – what are some of your interests? I was thinking one discussion that might peak your interest could be on whether or not Jesus would have been an acceptable sacrifice? Or a specific area pertaining to the crucifixion since that is one of the major diving lines between our faiths? I am also willing to discuss the historicity of any NT epistle. That reminds me, I noticed you just published a book on the revelation of John. If you are willing to send me a PDF of your book – I would gladly discuss or debate the authenticity of the book of Revelation as well.
Please let me know your thoughts and feedback. If so, we can set something up for next month or October. Also, if you neglect to have a live discussion, I am open to recording short videos (5-7 minutes each), and sending them back and forth for about 6 rounds ( i.e., opening, rebuttal, rebuttal, rebuttal, rebuttal, summary).
I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care.
– Luke

I am open to discussing the book of Revelation on Zoom. We don’t have to wait until October. We can do it this weekend for like an hour or so, and even have follow-up discussions afterwards.
