Welcome to “The Quran and the Bible” blog! I am your guide, Mr. Q. I am a devout Muslim, with an affinity for religious study. Along with religion, my interests include science. I have a Master’s Degree in Biology.

The purpose of this blog is to offer the Muslim perspective on various issues concerning Islam and Christianity, specifically with regard to the holy books of these religions, the Quran and Bible. This site is dedicated to a respectful discussion of the differences and similarities between the most famous and widely read books in human history. After many years of discussing with Christians (both friendly and hostile) and studying the Quran and the Bible, it is my belief that the latter is a human book which has been erroneously given a divine status. These experiences and studies have led me to have a firm belief in Islam as the truth, alhamdulillah. As subsequent posts are made, I will show why I believe this. The articles you will find on this site are my own views, based on my own research. I welcome constructive criticism and and am always willing to learn more. I also would like to declare that it is not my intention to insult Christians or make them feel bad. If any person feels this way after reading my articles, I offer my sincere apologies.*

    Thanks for the link but I would like to say that I have already found the truth, Alhamdulillah! I have setup this blog for the benefit of other people who are currently seeking the path of truth. If you are one of them, then I invite you to read the articles on the blog. I think you will find much that you may not have considered. Allah the Beneficent is calling you. You just need to answer Him. I hope you have the courage to accept the truth.

    Asalam, i need the verses in bible where is mentioned that prophet Muhammad coming, and where the Jesus was pray as Muslims pray Salat, also any verses that useful to Muslims in bible, in case they come to us , we can use it as a guild for Islam.

    As for the prayers of Jesus (peace be upon him), the best verse from the Bible that I can think of is Luke 22:41-42 which states:

    “He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.””

    But I would also add that I am not completely in favor of using the Bible to prove that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was mentioned in the Torah and Injeel. Remember that the present Tanakh (what the Christians call the “Old Testament”) and the New Testament are not the words of Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He). They are the result of centuries of editing, and indeed, most of the “books” were compiled by different authors, almost all of which were anonymous. Therefore, using this Bible to find clear-cut references to Muhammad (peace be upon him) is not really prudent. We should be cautious in this regard. Having said that, there are still some verses (mentioned in the links above) that may possibly be references to Muhammad (peace be upon him). Deuteronomy 18:18 is perhaps the best example. Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) knows best.
