Counter back Jesus (as) in your theology is God in the OT so, therefore, you have to say Jesus(as) did things you morally disagree with. (This also shows despite protests they REALLY do think of them as two separate gods, with this person basically being a Gnostic)
You can also counter that the NT says he’s supposed to commit the same massacres:
Yeah, I was pressing that point too. I think that caused the Christian even more butthurt because he just kept mindlessly repeating what Jesus said did in the New Testament.
Thats why i like to joke that in christian theology God didn’t just die for our sons but his own sins as well.
