“Whenever I abrogate any verse or cause it to be forgotten, I bring one better than it, or similar to it, don’t you know that God is able to do all things?”

– The Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:106

Abrogation is the act of one law ‘replacing’ or abolishing another. One of the wisdoms may be that a certain law is appropriate under a set of certain circumstances, and a modified form of the law replaces it to accommodate another different circumstance.  Some misconceptions among readers is that this is a ‘contradiction’ or that the Prophet ﷺ was changing the Qur’an according to his own desires.  However, this is not the case. A contradiction is defined as something that cannot be both true and not true at the same time when dealing with the same context. Abrogation is not something new from Islam.  It exists in both secular laws and in previously revealed Scriptures as we will soon explore. God is free to choose to abrogate His laws how and when He pleases. With the Qur’an, the reason why abrogation of certain laws happened within 23 years is because of the sweeping changes that occurred in the Muslim world and Arabian Peninsula in a short period of time. God, out of His wisdom and mercy for mankind, does not always enact His ultimate will in the first laws that are revealed. He sometimes reveals them in gradual stages, so any temporary laws act as stepping stones toward the final law He wants in place.

Abrogation in the Quran

A common example that is used is the gradual prohibition of alcohol:

“They ask you about substances that cloud the mind and gambling. Tell them: “There’s great sin in both, and some benefit for people, but the sin is greater than the benefit…””[1]

“Oh you believe, do not go near prayer while you’re in an intoxicated state, until you know what you’re saying…”[2]

“Oh you who believe! Substances which cloud your mind, gambling, shrines and superstitious acts are abominations from the works of Satan so avoid them at all cost so that you can become successful. Satan only wants to put hostility and hatred between you all through the use of mind-altering substances and gambling. As well as prevent you from remembering God and the prayer, so will you still not stop? Obey God, obey the Messenger and be on your guard against these things. If you ignore this and turn away, keep in mind that the only duty of My Messenger is to deliver the Message clearly. Those who have attained faith and do good deeds will not be blamed for whatever they may have eaten or tasted in the past, so long as they are mindful of God, truly believe and do good deeds. Then continue to be mindful of God and believe, then grow even more conscious of God, and continue to do even more good deeds, because God loves those who do good.”[3]

So we saw God first mention how there are benefits in alcohol but the harm and sin that comes from it is greater. This is to get the people thinking that maybe it’s best to stop doing this. Next God says don’t pray while you’re drunk.  This allowed people to now get used to not drinking at certain times. And, finally, God makes alcohol forbidden to drink.

Another simple example to use is during Adam (peace be upon him) and Noah ’s (peace be upon him) times, brothers and sisters were allowed to marry each other. It’s highly doubtful any Jew, Christian or Muslim will say that this is still allowed nowadays. I hope this example is clear for everyone.

So now we’re going to explore other examples of abrogation in the Bible starting with the gospels and then the Tanakh (aka the ‘Old’ Testament).

Abrogation in the New Testament

In the Tanakh (Old Testament) the law of divorce is as follows:

“If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her…he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house…”[4]

Jesus (peace be upon him) is said to have abrogated this:

“It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’ But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.”[5]

Notice that in this case, Jesus (peace be upon him) cited nothing within the Tanakh to substantiate that one can only divorce for adultery. From the time that Moses (peace be upon him) received his laws Jews could divorce for any reason. However whatever the wisdom behind it, the law is supposed to have been done away with by Jesus.

At a more important level, God also can abolish His previous revelations. The entire basis of Christianity is that Jesus, by ‘fulfilling’ the Covenant between God and man, has abrogated the need for keeping the Mosaic laws (not eating pork, stoning for adultery, killing apostates, etc.), which now brings us to the next point.

Abrogation In The Tanakh (aka Old Testament)

Jews argue that the Torah can never be abrogated and they are forever bound to it.  The verses they cite for their evidence are as follows:

“…any of the LORD’s commands to you through him, from the day the LORD gave them and continuing through the generations to come…”[6]

“Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time.”[7]

“See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.”[8]

So, Jewish scholarship has argued that they don’t have to become Christian or Muslim because the Torah cannot be abrogated by any prophet.

The first point is that the Jews themselves continue to abrogate their own laws. Today they no longer carry out the various punishments in the Tanakh such as the marriage of the raped women to their rapists, execution for breaking the Sabbath, etc.

The next point is the Talmud itself is very clear on abrogation:

“The abrogation of a law is sometimes equivalent to the maintenance of the law”; that is, to set a law aside is sometimes as meritorious as to establish it” (Men. 99b).[9]

“It is better that a single law be uprooted than that the whole Torah be forgotten” (Tem. 14b).[10]

“There are times when the duty of working for the glory of God requires the abolition of a law” (Ber. 54a and 63a).[11]

“The court [the religious authority] may, under circumstances, decree to uproot a positive law of the Bible” (Yeb. 89b).[12]

So, the rabbis over the centuries can change the laws but prophets from God can’t?  Very odd indeed.

However, because certain sects of Jews don’t follow the Talmud, Moses (peace be upon him) himself does abrogation in the Torah regarding the laws of land inheritance in Israel. The background story is that each of the 12 tribes would own a specific region of land, and all of the families in that tribe would own some portion of the land. The land would remain in the tribe and within the family. In fact, if the land were sold, it would revert back to the family in the Jubilee year every fifty years.[13]  Since one’s tribe is determined on the father’s side, only males can inherit land. So, a father’s land holdings would be passed down to his son or sons. A daughter would presumably marry and join the family of her husband, and their sons would inherit the land from their father. In short, the law set up a fairly conservative and static system that would preserve family land through male inheritance.

Tribes of Israel

This was the law until the daughters of Zelophehad showed up.[14]  Zelophehad was a member of the tribe of Manasseh, and he died with five daughters but no sons. Under the rules in place, his daughters would be left with no inheritance. The daughters argued to Moses (peace be upon him) and everyone else that they should be allowed to inherit his share:

“Let not our father’s name be lost to his clan just because he had no son! Give us a holding among our father’s kinsmen.”[15]

Moses (peace be upon him) checked with God, and God said:

“What Zelophehad’s daughters are saying is right.”[16]

From now on, the rule is that if a man dies without sons but with daughters, the property should be transferred to his daughters.  If he dies without any children, there is a more complex hierarchy of inheritance.

Importantly, this was not merely an elaboration or clarification of the existing law but an entirely new law. Before this ‘case’ was brought, the daughters would’ve received nothing and Zelophehad’s other relatives would have inherited the land. Now the daughters inherit and the other relatives receive nothing. And the basis for this change in the law, according to God, is simply justice.

This story shows an evolution of the law. The children of Israel started with one set of legal rules, but they proved to be unjust in a particular situation. God then modified the rules to comport with justice, producing a second set of rules.  This is the exact same way of Qur’anic abrogation.

If this story does not show that the law evolves, there’s more. Nine chapters later, in the last chapter of Numbers, new people show up with a new problem with this law, and it changes again.[17]  The family heads of Zelophehad’s clan show up with a complaint. If the daughters of Zelophehad marry someone from another tribe, their sons will inherit not only their father’s land (from the other tribe), but also the land of Zelophehad (from Manasseh). So someone from another tribe will end up owning land smack dab in the middle of Manasseh. Not only that, but the total amount of land that the people of Manasseh own will be permanently reduced because they can never re-inherit their share.

Moses (peace be upon him) agreed with this argument and “commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the Lord, saying “What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.” Moses (peace be upon him) then set forth a new rule: daughters may inherit under the old rule only if they marry members of their own tribe. If they marry members of a different tribe, they may not inherit.  The end of the story is that the Daughters of Zelophehad ended up marrying their uncles or cousins, and everyone lived happily ever after.

So by this time, the law has now gone through three stages of development: the original law (only sons inherit), the modified law (daughters can inherit if there are no sons), and the modified modified law (only if they marry someone from their tribe).  Several points are worth noting here:

  1. First, the Torah could have given us just the final rule without showing any of its intermediate forms of development. The fact that we see the evolution of the law suggests that the evolution itself is important, not just the final law.
  2. Second, Moses (peace be upon him) used the identical language (and the Hebrew is identical: כֵּן kayn) to describe the plea of the Manasseh tribe that God used to describe the plea of the daughters of Zelophehad.  What they are saying is “right”.
  3. Third, the text does not say that Moses (peace be upon him) checked with God before stating the new rule. Instead, Moses (peace be upon him) himself spoke to the Children of Israel “al pi Adonai” (according to the work of God).
  4. Fourth, Moses (peace be upon him) changed the very law that God himself had changed.

So what do we make of this? God, responding to the daughters of Zelophehad, set forth a methodology for determining when laws should change. Once God established this methodology, Moses (peace be upon him) was free to employ it himself in response to the other members of the tribe of Manasseh, and in doing so he spoke “al pi Adonai.”  These points are important because earlier this week a certain commentator in the comment section of this blog argued that Muslims ‘worship’ prophet Muhammad ﷺ because of his ability to command laws that are binding on the believers.

This all may seem like radical notions of law. But in fact, it’s exactly how Anglo-American common law works. Judges initially promote a set of rules, one case at a time. But over time, new situations arise that do not merely require the application of existing laws to new situations, but actually, require the legal rules themselves to change in response to these new situations. Abrogation is not a ‘bad thing’, and we should all be grateful that we have a God that takes into consideration our circumstances as humans because He has created weak.

With that being said, comment below on what you thought about the article. Also, whether you are Muslim or not, tell me about some topics you would all be interested in hearing about. I look forward to your responses and may God guide us all to the path most pleasing to Him.

ABROGATION CHANGES THE REVELATIONS OF ALLAH TO MUHAMMAD
Muslims believe that the Quran is written by Allah himself. Allah handed down the book, piece by piece and chapter by chapter, to the Archangel Gabriel. Gabriel, in turn, whispered these words to Muhammad himself over the course of some 23 years.

Muhammad could neither read nor write. Therefore, he had to find people who could write down what he called his revelations from Allah. There were several of these katibs (scribes) who wrote down the surahs (chapters) which eventually made up the Quran.

There are several problems with the Quran.

The Quran was not compiled in book form during the life of Muhammad. It remained for the third Caliph, Uthman, to gather the several portions of the Quran that were circulating, organize the contents into one book, and have the rest burned. How could a book taken as the perfect, word-for-word message from Allah, be edited and selectively organized by a fallible man?

Which surahs did Uthman not like?

      Which ones did he modify?

Which ones did he discard, and which ones are his own additions?

These are terribly troubling questions that Muslims either fail to address or rationalize away.

Muhammad frequently received his revelations when no one was around to write them down and, per force, had to recall them later and dictate them to someone who could write them down.

Did Muhammad have a photographic memory?

Did Allah endow him with that faculty so that he could have perfect recall?

We don’t know the answer to this question. What we do know, however, from the text of the present Quran points to another direction.

Muhammad, while he was dictating his revelations, would frequently allow his scribe to change words and sentences. The account of one of his long-term scribes, Abdullah Ben Saad, is instructive here. The scribe found it very strange that Muhammad allowed him to make and suggest changes, since Muhammad claimed he was dictating the exact words of Allah and saying them as they were revealed to him. The scribe started to wonder how it was possible that he could make these changes if indeed Muhammad’s claim was true that they were dictates of Allah. This scribe lost his faith and escaped to Mecca.

Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh was one of Muhammad’s scribes who helped write and pen the Quran as Muhammad recited. He was the man who probably penned the wildly contested Embryology in the Quran Surah that is currently being debated by the league of reason team of therationalizer, klingschor, lorientalist, captaindisguise, islamicmiracle and spotspamming1 against iERA team led by hamza tosoris. So the surah that describe the embryology in the Koran was probably written by Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh who had discovered that Muhammad was false because Muhammad was using Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh’s words for his own Qur’an. Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh realized that Muhammad was not a real prophet but false and left Islam and converted back to being a pagan. Muhammad was irate and when he took control of Mekka he wanted Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh killed because he knew the truth of Muhammad’s falsehood, but the only problem was that Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh had alliances with the most powerful family of the area and his adopted brother was Uthman the third caliph of the umma. Because he came from a powerful family Muhammad could not kill Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh. Because Muhammad had taken control of Mecca Abdullah ibn Sa’d ibn Abi Sarh had to revert back to Islam to be safe.

The Quran is confusing, full of contradictions and outright errors of fact. It is difficult to fathom that a belief system with such grandiose claims can be based on a document such as the Quran. Islam’s proponents rationalize these problems with the Quran by claiming that religion is a business of the heart: it is inherently mysterious and not subject to ordinary logic. I find this reasoning unacceptable. The best instrument we have so as to distinguish the truth from falsehood is the mind and its faculty of reason. Accepting things that are contrary to reason is a betrayal of our humanity.

Sorry Stew, the New Testament describes God’s laws being fulfilled, not abrogated.

Abrogation is muhammadan. And it’s concept is illogical if the Koran is the eternal word of Allah.

    1. crosstian, show me an EVOLUTION on divorce laws in tanakh. Where is there even one hint in tanakh that divorce is adultery? the excuse for law change was “your hearts were hard” but they were even harder in jesus’ time AND rapist can never divorce his victim.

so where did tanakh ever put divorce in to category of adultery?

Look at the inconsistency of jesus,he tells jews WHAT GOD HAS SET IN STONE LET NO MAN SEPARATE, but then creates a condition for when they can separate but the whole point of his response to the pharisees is that human beings could not separate a bond that was divinely instituted.

So be consistent, why DO you allow jesus to not only create new idea of divorce but allow jesus to get away with his inconsistency ? thats because you are a flesh worshipper, right?

      2. Ahh, so this Zionist pig is a secular Zionist pig! Hmm, how many people did Israel kill when it gained its “independence”? How many people have been killed by godless atheists?

Oh and by the way, you can thank Islam for allowing Jews to live in the Holy Land. It is an interesting fact of history that when the Byzantine Christians controlled Jerusalem, Jews were not allowed to settle in the holy city, a continuation of Roman policy. But when the Muslims arrived, Jews began to settle in Jerusalem for the first time in nearly 500 years (not including the brief period when the Persians occupied Jerusalem)! The proof for this is found in Jewish sources themselves. For example, the Encyclopedia Judaica states:

“…there is no doubt that during the Persian conquest (614–28) Jews lived in Jerusalem. It seems that even after the recapture of the city by Heraclius many of them remained in its vicinity. This may have caused Sophronius’ request that no Jews be allowed to stay in Jerusalem. […]

A document (in Judeo-Arabic) found in the Cairo *Genizah reveals that the Jews asked Omar for permission for 200 families to settle in the town. As the patriarch [Sophronius] opposed the action strongly, Omar fixed the number of the Jewish settlers at 70 families. The Jews were assigned the quarter southwest of the Temple area, where they lived from that time…”

In a separate entry about the Caliph Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), the Encyclopedia Judaica states:

“Omar permitted the Jews to reestablish their presence in Jerusalem–after a lapse of 500 years–and also seems to have allotted them a place for prayers on the Temple Mount (from which they were driven out at a later date). Jewish tradition regards Omar as a benevolent ruler and the Midrash (Nistarot de-Rav Shimon bar Yoḥai) refers to him as a “friend of Israel.””

Rabbi Reuven Firestone echoes this sentiment:

“[Umar] ended Christian rule over Jerusalem and allowed Jews to legally re-enter and live in the holy city for the first time since the failed Bar Kokhba rebellion in the 2nd century.”

Rather than persecuting and killing Jews, the historical evidence shows that the Muslims did the exact opposite. As Professor David Wasserstein succinctly puts it (emphasis ours):

“Islam saved Jewry. This is an unpopular, discomforting claim in the modern world. But it is a historical truth.”

So Muslims have never been against Jews living in the Holy Land. They lived with Muslims for centuries. What we are against are the abuses of the illegal state of Israel. And so are some Jews, who choose not to jump on the bandwagon, but who bravely resist the evil of Zionism:

        https://www.truetorahjews.org/mission

Interestingly, the above group states unequivocally that:

“Zionism, by advocating a political and military end to the Jewish exile, denies the very essence of our Diaspora existence. We are in exile by Divine Decree and may emerge from exile solely via Divine Redemption. All human efforts to alter a metaphysical reality are doomed to end in failure and bloodshed. History has clearly borne out this teaching.”

So they believe that Jews must not live in any state called “Israel” until God ends their exile, which is supposed to happen in the days of the Messiah. Of course, as Muslims, we do not believe this, but it is interesting how these Jews use the Bible to justify their resistance to the modern state of Israel.

So God’s law were “fulfilled”, not “abrogated”? Meanwhile, in other news, water doesn’t make things “wet”, it makes them “moist”. LOL, Christian logic strikes again!

Not to mention that brother John provided direct examples of abrogation from both the Tanakh and the NT. But of course, we know that Cerbie is living in his own world, where reality is non-existent.

Also, early Christianity has a clear stance on abrogation I just didn’t want to make the article too long because it was coming to lengthy.

“Now, law placed against law has abrogated that which is before it, and a covenant which comes after in like manner has put an end to the previous one; and an eternal and final law — namely, Christ — has been given to us, and the covenant is trustworthy, after which there shall be no law, no commandment, no ordinance.” (Dialogue of Justin, Philosopher and Martyr, with Trypho — Justin Martyr 1968)

The following is from J. Keir Howard’s book “Medicine, Miracle and Myth in the New Testament” (p. 52):

“…for the term ‘virgin’ was used in Jewish parlance simply to designate a girl who was considered too physically immature to conceive.”

What makes this more shocking is that Howard is specifically referring to Mary, the mother of Jesus (peace be upon him), but it could also apply to the “virgins” of Numbers 31:18. So, we have further proof to demolish the lies of Cerbie/Paulus and his watered-down, secularist interpretation of the Bible. Based on the above, Howard suggests that Mary was pre-pubescent!

but tell that to the jews, they see it as pure antisemitism .

how did jesus fulfil law he broke ? how does human sacrificial ritual fulfil animal sacrifices ? the pagan dog is still in his corrupted condition . the evidence is in his abusive behaviour in this conversation.

many times jesus breaks jewish laws on his own sinful desire , i have proof for this , since jesus came down as a jew, he was UNDER jewish law. so when he goes around touching lepers and then TELLING THEM TO KEEP it a SECRET, he busted the law.

when he makes FALLACIOUS comparisons to justify his law breaking, then he BUSTED the law.

        i give a few examples :

::::::::::::law breaker jesus, law breaker jesus, law breaker:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

There is a false equivalence here. When a life is in danger, or judged by a professional to be in danger, the Sabbath may be broken in order to provide the proper treatment that can save that life. The act of circumcision is not considered healing. It is an entirely separate precept mandated in the Torah.

Completely false and showing an ignorance of halacha (Jewish law).

Protecting a person’s life (in Hebrew, pikuach nefesh) overrides any other mitzvah. If someone is ill, and there is any question about his life being in danger, then not only are we allowed to violate Shabbat, but we are required to do so.

If a life isn’t in danger, but there is a chance that a person could lose a limb (Sakanat Aver) by waiting then it is a requirement to do what you can to save the limb.

Jesus didn’t save a life in the Christian bible — he healed a withered arm which had been that way for a long time. There was no reason he couldn’t have waited until after Shabbat to “heal” the person. . . Even so there is no mitzvah against healing on Shabbat unless it violates one of the 39 melachot (mistranslated as “work”) associated with Shabbat and many other holy days. We are also commanded not to perform melachot on Shabbat — and in the case of Matthew 12 and Luke 6 and the other references, Jsus’ healing on the Sabbath might or might not have been a sin — depending on HOW he healed those people. There are 39 melachot. From the OU:

If, in the process of “healing” Jesus broke any of those 39 activities he sinned. From the story in the Christian bible Jesus did not break any of the above mitzvot so his healing of the man was not a sin at all.

The Pharisees wrote about healing on the Sabbath and never did forbid it. In other words the passage in John 7 is false — and seems to have been written simply to make the Jews look petty and small.

        Vayikra / Leviticus 18:5: “וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת מִשְׁפָּטַי אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה אֹתָם הָאָדָם וָחַי בָּהֶם — You shall observe My decrees and My laws, which man shall carry out and by whiuch he shall live . . . ”

The Sages derive from the expression by which he shall live that the mitzvot are given for the sake of life, not death. The exceptions are the three cardinal sins: idolatry, forbidden sexual relationships, and murder; and cases where violation of commandments would cause desecration of G-d’s Name (Sanhedrin 74a).

Brit Milah (the covenant of circumcision) takes place on the eighth day of life for a male child — irregardless of whether it is Shabbat or even Yom Kippur for that matter. Far from “breaking” Shabbat one is fulfilling the mitzvah as given in the Torah (again, showing that the author of “John” was woefully ignorant of Jewish law).

is the sabbath an eternal everlasting law?
the prophets in the ot say “keep the sabbath”

        quote :
How important is the Sabbath from the standpoint of a Christian? How does it compare to the “principle” that posits that there is no remission for sin without the shedding of blood? Now search the Jewish Bible, how many times do the prophets exhort our people to guard the Sabbath? Dozens of times. How many times does the Jewish Bible say that there is no remission for sin without the shedding of blood? Zero. Does God not know how to emphasize a point? Did he forget how to write?

Is the Christian looking to the Bible to tell what is important and what is peripheral? It is clear and obvious that Dr. Brown’s read on the Bible is produced by the theology he is trying to promote and that his theology is NOT produced by his read on the Bible.

      9. quote :
In Matthew 12, Jesus proclaims himself to be “Lord of the Sabbath”. This is clearly not a way to refer people to Hashem. This horrible pronouncement and the invective that precede it make a mockery of Torah and are an attempt on the part of Jesus to elevate himself above Hashem. What is obvious is that if Jesus were the “Lord of the Sabbath,” his disciples would have been more careful to properly observe it. What servant breaks the Law of the King when in His presence? Regardless, Jesus attempted to exalt himself with grandiose and arrogant claims, showing the greatest disregard for Hashem’s Law and its Author.

Likewise, at the so-called Last Supper, Jesus attempted to overwrite the Pesach with his own narrative. A day that was dedicated to remembering God’s removal of Israel from Exodus was now to be a day to commemorate Jesus’ death. Jesus is taking something that refers one to God, a day set aside eternally just for this purpose, and repurposing it to make it about himself. This is far from your claim that he always referred people to Hashem. In fact, he is taking a memorial that does refer people to Hashem and now making it to refer to himself. He exalts himself over God, the antithesis of your assertion.

The Church continues to exalt Jesus over God in the same manner, of course. Shavuot has become for the Church, Pentecost. A day dedicated to celebrating God granting Israel a most precious gift is to become a day about receiving the ability to speak a foreign language without having to learn. Shabbat is not about honoring the Creator but the supposed resurrection. And one may read the works of various counter-counter-missionaries to see how they relate the festivals to Jesus. The things meant to focus the nation of priests on their God are now rewritten by the Church to focus humanity on Jesus. How reminiscent of the one who “shall attempt to change the sacred seasons and the law” (Dan. 7.24).

When a man wishes to follow Jesus, but needs to bury his father, Jesus exalts himself, yet again. By telling the man to “let the dead bury the dead” he is telling the man to dishonor his father, contrary to the Law of Hashem. He also ignores that it is a mitzvah to bury the dead. Jesus again exalts himself over Hashem.

And, in fact, the way he interposes himself between Man and God is to draw one’s attention away from Hashem and to himself. When he asserts that no one comes to the Father except through himself, he has contravened the Torah and exalted himself with base arrogance. He has attempted to seize the honor one owes God and direct it to himself. He has attempted to capture the devotion one owes his Creator and keep it for himself.

In short, he has not referred one to Hashem. He has attempted to take attention from Hashem and exalt himself. He has attempted to enthrone himself in the hearts of humanity rather than the One to Whom is due all devotion, gratitude, and obedience. He pretended his own words were superior to those of Hashem, called himself “Lord of the Sabbath” and retooled Pesach to be about himself. Your thesis falls.

But you will note that the sins attributed to Jesus by those treacherous Greek writers, not Jewish writers, still appear in Stern’s travesty of a “translation”. In Matthew–I’m sorry, Matisyahu–Jesus still exalts his teachings above the Torah of HaShem. He still claims to be Lord of the Sabbath, excuse me, “Lord of Shabbat”. (It’s all very Jewish now, not Greek.) He still makes Pesach to be about himself.

        ::::::::::::::::::::::::

If you are going to cherry pick part of a sentence in order to just talk ballix then we are done.

First and foremost. Jesus is aware of the leprosy, before touching, so even if your myopic view of the Law was correct, the clause would still not apply.

But even if he wasn’t aware of it, he certainly was when he was finished with the leper. And he further broke the Law by warning the man to keep their interaction a secret.

1:40-45 40A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.” 41Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” 42Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. 40 He sent him away at once with a strong warning: 44″See that you don’t tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.” 45Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere.

        Which transgresses Leviticus 5:1…

And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he has seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

It was the duty of all to be straight about Law breaking.

        (1) And hear the voice of swearing.—Better, because he heard the voice of adjuration, and might be a witness, whether he hath seen the offence or known of it, if he doth not tell it. Having laid dawn in the former chapter the regulations about the sin offering, and having shown how these regulations are to be carried out when the offence against the Divine law is inadvertently committed by the spiritual head of the people, by the whole congregation, by the sovereign ruler of the nation, and by the individual members of the community, the lawgiver now proceeds to set forth in Leviticus 5:1-13 of this chapter the trespass offering which every Israelite is to bring when he has violated certain precepts here specified. The first instance adduced is that of failing to come forward as witness after the judicial adjuration has been uttered. It was the duty of every member of the community to aid the authorities in maintaining the integrity of the Divine law. Hence, when an offence was committed which the constituted tribunals were unable to bring home to the offender for want of evidence, a solemn adjuration was addressed by the judge to individual members, to a district, or to the whole community. If after such an adjuration, anyone who was cognizant of the offence failed to come forward to testify what he knew, he was considered in the sight of God as participating in the transgression which he had thus concealed. It is with reference to this law that we are told, “whoso is partner with a thief, hateth his own soul, he heareth cursing and betrayeth it not,” i.e., he hears the adjuration of the judges, and yet stifles his evidence, and thus becomes a partner with the culprit. An instance of this adjuration is recorded in Matthew 26:63, where the high priest said to Jesus, “I adjure thee by the living God that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the son of God,” and it was in recognition of the solemn obligation of this adjuration that Jesus answered the question.

In Luke, Jesus heals ten lepers from a distance. Ironically….

11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[a] met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

So you just delete little bits and pieces of sentences that you don’t like?
That’s what you are doing. The “and it is hidden from him” in context with the rest of the text is not a “get out of jail” free card in some kind of ignorance is a defence argument. It doesn’t matter whether the person doing the touching is aware that the person being touched is unclean, the sin is committed at the point of contact.

But even if your nonsense argument could stand and ignorance was allowed as a defence, it wouldn’t apply to the Jesus incident because according to the text in the NT, Jesus knew up front that he was touching a leper. Law broke. Furthermore, he attempted to keep it a secret. Law broke. And the text goes on to tell us that Jesus was punished by being banished from the town. Why? Because he broke the Law.

It would appear that the following of yours was pure psychological projection:

IA: You are quite at liberty to look at a passage and make up whatever nonsense about it you like, just as long as you hold your hands up and admit that’s what you are doing.

So, do you admit this is what you are doing?
Nope…I’m citing multiple theological commentaries that are respected enough to be accepted scholarship. You have cited no such support. When you do, it will be a game changer.

Yes, so if the law says:

        If A, B, and C, then D.

        If ¬B, then ¬D.
Define your terms. In the meantime…

        If the law says:

        If A, B, or C, then D.

        If ¬B, then still D.

        Nice try, but: ¬B.
What is your ¬B? Ignorance is not a defence and Jesus can’t claim ignorance anyway.

It was against the law to become ceremonially unclean?
Jesus didn’t become ceremonially unclean though…for that to be the case, he needs to be ritually cleansing according to the Law, so yet another failure if that’s your claim. We know Jesus was not ceremonially unclean, because he tried to keep it a secret. And he was shunned by the town when the leper couldn’t hold his wisht and spilt the beans to the crowds.

        … inadvertently committed …

        Oops.
Ah, the quote mine…ffs Luke, this is beyond a joke. Whether inadvertently committed or not, the Law has been broken.

Having laid down in the former chapter the regulations about the sin offering, and having shown how these regulations are to be carried out when the offence against the Divine law is inadvertently committed by the spiritual head of the people, by the whole congregation, by the sovereign ruler of the nation, and by the individual members of the community, the lawgiver now proceeds to set forth in Leviticus 5:1-13 of this chapter the trespass offering which every Israelite is to bring when he has violated certain precepts here specified.

Jesus didn’t inadvertently commit the trespass, so that defence is moot. And for the umpteenth time, it isn’t even a defence. Whether inadvertently committed or not, the crime is done.

Says you. Who are doing a really good impression of being an agent of Satan/satan. By pushing as hard as you can—first subtly, now overtly—that power ⇒ righteousness.
Nope…I’m citing your fellow Christians and religious texts. And only because, this power is not equal to, or better than, righteousness nonsense you’re pushing is the red herring rabbit hole you are dragging me down. It is irrelevant to my initial point that Deuteronomy 13 is about the punishment for those that initialise thoughts of apostasy in others. And to date you have failed to demonstrate it is otherwise.

Now I don’t believe in your God’s existence. I see no evidence to hold such a belief. Looking at the character in the book, I don’t hold it as righteous. But playing DA to your assertion.

Hey Cerbie, how were old those little Midianite girls? 🙂

It’s pretty clear you didn’t read the article which is why you have to result to immature attacks. Part of arrogance’s definition is that when the truth comes to you, you deny it. If you have a tenable defense then present it respectfully if not then accept the truth no matter who it comes from. I’ll sum up my points:
    1. The daughters of Zelophehad in Numbers is a clear-cut abrogation case.
    2. The divorce law in Matt by Jesus(as) is a clear-cut abrogation case.
    3. Christian theology is based off abrogation. If not then please explain why Christians eat pork and shellfish, don’t kill apostates or stone people for adultery. According to Christianity by the Torah being ‘fulfilled’ (as you put it) by Jesus(as), these laws are no longer in effect i.e. they are abrogated.
    4. If you really want to be argumentative then why can’t we marry our siblings like during Adam’s(as) time? Because these laws were abrogated.

    THE ARABIAN ZIONIST PROPHET
This must be the most bizarre title you have ever seen.
To the Arabs & Muslims, this is tantamount to BLASPHEMY!
    But is it?
Has humanity been deceived for the last 700 years into accepting Arab & Muslim propaganda regarding Palestine as FACT?
Let us explore this issue based entirely upon Muhammad’s Quran and no other.
Anyone who has read the Quran let alone studied it would know the following:
    1. The chapters of the Quran are not written in the order of their alleged revelations to Muhammad. For example, the first verse of the Quran is actually in Sura 96 and not one or two!
    Sura Al Alaq 96:1
“Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher Who created…”
    2. The verses and story lines are boringly repetitive.
    3. The names of the Hebrew Biblical characters appear all of a sudden, without any indication as to which country they lived, in which era and in what context.
    4. Without references to the Hebrew Bible, no reader of the otherwise incoherent Quran could possibly know the full story of any and ALL of the Hebrew Biblical characters mentioned therein.
Moreover, their stories in the Quran are based upon Rabbinic & Apocryphal traditions and not upon their originals in the Torah.
    5. The Quran as a whole has no beginning, no middle and no ending, totally unlike the Hebrew Bible.
    6. The stories in the chapters of the Quran, jump from one Hebrew Biblical character in one verse, to a completely different and unrelated character in a completely different era in the next verse, without rhyme, reason or logic.
    7. To compile the story of what we are about to reveal to you, we have had to ferret out all the relevant verses, scattered over many chapters of the Quran, and put them in a coherent order as faithful to the original story in the Hebrew Bible as possible.
    8. And that is why over the last 1400 years, no follower of Muhammad who has not read the Hebrew Bible, could possibly understand, let alone know, the whole story in a consistent manner.
Before revealing the Quran’s Zionism, it is very important of course, to explain what Zionism means and is NOT according to Arab and Muslim distorted propaganda, but to facts.
Believers and Unbelieving Kuffar, please be aware, that the immense majority of the followers of Muhammad, recognize the words Zionist and Zionism, but have absolutely no understanding of either the meaning or the concept of these words.
In Hebrew, Zion is pronounced Tsion, a term that most often designates the Land of Israel and its capital, Jerusalem. The word is found in texts dating back almost three millennia.
Originally, it was the name of a Canaanite fortress on top of Mount Tsion, which is near Jerusalem, which was captured by King David.
David made it a royal residence to start with, and his son Solomon, built the first Temple on top of it. Henceforth, the whole hill was named Tsion. Thereafter, the name of the hill and the city of Jerusalem became synonymous.
In many Hebrew Biblical verses, the Israelites were called the people, sons or daughters of Zion.
The word Zionism is derived from, & associated with, the word Tsion or Zion.
Zionism is actually the national revival movement for the return of the Jewish Diaspora to their homeland of Judea & Samaria, and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel, the Promised Land, their birth place.
Zionism was self-consciously the Jewish analogue of European national liberation movements of the nineteenth century. In the modern world it manifests itself as support for the principle and absolute right of the Jews to live securely in their own homeland Israel as they did over a millennia in ancient times as well as on and off over the centuries ever since.
I shall begin with the most important example of Zionism in the Quran, which is the Quran’s version of the Exodus story starting with Allah’s instruction to Moses and Aaron to go to Pharaoh asking him to release the tribes of Israel from bondage.
I shall recite only the relevant verses from the chapters in such a way as to make the storyline similar in manner to its original in the Torah. I shall jump over verses that are either repetitive or not relevant to the flow of the story.
Please pay particular attention as to how – without our collation in a coherent sequence – the relevant verses of the Quran actually jump from one chapter to a completely different one, since they are scattered all over the chapters of the Quran and hence, by themselves do not make a coherent tale.
Those who want the complete verses can read them in the Quran as I shall be giving you chapter & verse where to find them.
    Sura Ta Ha 20: 47
“So go ye both to him (Pharaoh) and say `Verily we are apostles sent by thy Lord: send forth therefore the Children of Israel with us and afflict them not: with a Sign indeed have we come from thy Lord! And peace to all who follow guidance!
    Sura Al Aaraf 7: 104
“Moses said: “O Pharaoh! I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds.
    Sura Al Aaraf 7:130
“We punished the people of Pharaoh with years (of drought) and shortness of crops; that they might receive admonition.
132 They said (to Moses): “whatever be the signs thou bringest to work there with the sorcery on us, we shall never believe in thee.”
133 So We sent (plagues) on them, Wholesale Death, Locusts, Lice, Frogs and Blood: signs openly Self-explained; but they were steeped in arrogance a people given to sin.
134 Every time the penalty fell on them they said: “O Moses! On
our behalf, call on thy Lord in virtue of his promise to thee: if thou wilt remove the penalty from us, we shall truly believe in thee and we shall send away the Children of Israel with thee.
135 But every time We removed the penalty from them, according to a fixed term which they had to fulfill, Behold! they broke their word!
136 So We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and failed to take warning from them.
*** Anyone who has read the Hebrew Biblical original, would know, that what was allegedly revealed to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel, is completely different both in sequence and context ***
    Sura Ta Ha 20: 77
“We sent an inspiration to Moses: “Travel by night with my servants ( the Israelites) and strike a dry path for them through the (Red) sea without fear of being overtaken (by Pharaoh) and without (any other) fear.”
78 Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.
79 Pharaoh led his people astray instead of leading them aright.
    Sura Al Aaraf 7:138
“We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea…
*** To recap the story thus far: By Allah’s instructions, Moses & Aaron requested the release of the Israelite Tribes from bondage. Pharaoh refused. Allah punished him with a plague. Pharaoh recanted & asked forgiveness BUT when the plague was lifted he again disobeyed Allah. This continued until TEN plagues were visited upon Pharaoh and Egypt.
Finally Pharaoh allowed the Israelites to leave, but he regretted his decision and pursued them into the Red Sea where Pharaoh & his troops were drowned by Allah thus saving Moses & the Israelites.
So far, the storyline of the EXODUS, as we have rearranged it from the different chapters of the Quran, is relatively faithful to that of the Torah
    ***
    Sura Ta Ha 20:80 :
“O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy and We made a Covenant with you on the side of Mount (Sinai) and We sent down to you Manna and quails:
    Sura Al Israa 17: 2:
“We gave Moses the Book (Torah) and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel (commanding): “Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs.”
    Sura Al Aaraf 7: 137:
“And We made a people (Israelites) considered weak (and of no account) inheritors of lands in both east and west lands, where on We sent down our blessings. The fair promise of the Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).
***” inheritors of lands in both east and west lands” is actually the Promised Land of the Israelites on BOTH sides of the Jordan River***
    Sura Al Israa 17: 104
“And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel “Dwell securely in the land (of promise)”: but when the second of the warnings came to pass We gathered you together in a mingled crowd.
*** Allah, in very clear Arabic, asserts that he fulfilled his promise to reward the People of Israel with the Promised Land, the same land that the later conquering hordes of Muslim Arabs claim as exclusively theirs CONTRARY to their own Quran ***
    Sura Al Maida 5: 12
“Allah did aforetime take a Covenant from the Children of Israel, and We appointed twelve captains among them and Allah said: “I am with you: if ye establish regular prayers, practice regular charity, believe in My apostles, honor and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I shall wipe out from you your evils and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you after this resists faith he hath truly wandered from the path of rectitude.”
*** Once again, does the Quran assert the close relationship between Allah, the People of Israel and his promise for the Land ***
    Sura Yunus 10: 93
“We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place (the Promised Land) and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them on the Day of Judgment.
94 If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book (Torah) from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in nowise of those in doubt.
*** Allah is clearly instructing the followers of Muhammad that if they were in doubt about the veracity of what Muhammad was revealing to them, and then they should ask the Jews who read the Torah that Allah revealed to Moses.
This SINGULAR verse, DESTROYS and NEGATES all the LIES and DECEPTIONS by the LATER followers of Muhammad regarding the authenticity and DIVINE origin of the Torah since had it been ALTERED or tampered with by the Jews, Allah would NOT have used it as a WITNESS to the veracity of the Quran***
    Sura Al Baqara 2: 40
“O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon you and fulfill your covenant with Me as I fulfill My covenant with you and fear none but Me”
    Al Baqara 2: 47
“O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon You and that 50 And remember, We divided the (Red) sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh’s people within your very sight.
51 And remember, We appointed forty nights for Moses and in his absence you took the calf (for worship) and ye did grievous wrong.
52 Even then, We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful”
*** Without a shadow of a doubt, the Quran in clear Arabic asserts that it was Allah who CHOSE the Israelites above all other nations and made a mutual covenant with them.
Furthermore, verse 2:52 is remarkable in its assertion that Allah also FORGAVE their transgression.
This verse in particular, ABROGATES, Overturns and overrides the LIES and PERVERSIONS by the followers of Muhammad, that tell Arabic IGNORAMOUS peoples that Allah had NOT forgiven the sin of the People of Israel ***
    Sura Al Baqara 2: 122
“O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you above the whole world!
*** Once more in this verse does Allah assert that the Israelites are his CHOSEN PEOPLE***
    Sura Al Sajda 32: 23
We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel”
*** Allah is telling the followers of Muhammad that he gave the Torah ONLY to the People of Israel as a guide ***
    Sura Al Mu’min 40: 53
“We did a foretime give Moses the (Book of) Guidance and We gave the Book (Torah) in inheritance to the Children of Israel”
*** “We gave the Book (Torah) in inheritance to the Children of Israel” means to them and their generations AFTER them ***
    Sura Al Dukhan 44: 30
“We did deliver a foretime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment
31 Inflicted by Pharaoh for he was arrogant (even) among inordinate transgressors.
32 And We chose them aforetime above all the nations knowingly
    Sura Al Jathiyah 45: 16
“We did a foretime grant to the Children of Israel the Book (Torah), the Power of Command and Prophethood; We gave them for Sustenance things good and pure; and We favored them above all the nations”
***Believers and Unbelievers, please be aware, that the Quran, in verse after verse, repeatedly and unambiguously asserts, that it was Allah and ONLY Allah who did the Choosing, contrary to the Hatemongering declarations by Muslims, that it is the RACIST and ARROGANT Israelites and Jews who declare themselves the Chosen People***
    Sura Al Ahqaf 46: 12
“And before this was the Book (Torah) of Moses as a guide and a mercy; and this Book (Quran) confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.
    Sura Al sajda 32: 23
“We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.
    Sura Al Maida 5:44
“It was We who revealed the law (Torah to Moses); therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews by the Prophet who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah’s will by the Rabbis and the doctors of Law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book (Torah) and they were witnesses thereto:
    Sura Al Saffat 37: 114
“Again! We bestowed Our favor on Moses and Aaron.
    115 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity;
    116 And We helped them so they overcame (their troubles);
    117 And We gave them the Book (Torah) which helps to make things clear;
118 And We guided them to the Straight Way.
119 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times:
120 “Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!”
*** It should be pointed out that not once in these very important verses did Allah instruct the Children of Israel to pass on his Book (the Torah) to any other human group CONTRATY to the Malicious accusations that the Israelites hid the Torah from other peoples***
And last but not least ‘ icing on the cake’ verse:
    Sura Al Maida 5: 21
“O my people! enter the holy land (al Arth al Muqaddassah) which Allah hath assigned unto you and turn not back ignominiously for then will ye be overthrown to your own ruin.”
Based upon all what we have revealed, how can any sane person accept the wild and unsubstantiated claims, that the loose leaf and arbitrary collection of the Quran is CORRECT, whereas the older Hebrew Book, the Torah, whose pages, chapters and verses are in correct order and upon which the Quran’s foundations are rooted, is not?
It is obvious that Muhammad did not realize that his loose-leaf notes had fully captured and preserved – though somewhat scrambled up from the more ancient accounts – actually verified with detailed accounts, that the Israelites and the Jews had lived many centuries before him, settled and made their homeland as a nation in the very state of modern Israel & territories that have since been restored. These are the very lands that his followers absurdly deny had ever previously belonged to anyone else but themselves?
In conclusion, based upon all the above, it is crystal clear, that contrary to the untested beliefs of hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world today, their Quran in fact, fully supports and verifies the claims of the Jews for the Land of Israel as their ancient and rightful home and nation.

Looks like we have a Zionist propagandist in our midst! And it looks like he knows more about what the Quran teaches than Muslims! I mean what a shocker, huh? The Quran says that the Jews were led into the Holy Land! WOW! Mind blown! How about that?

Well actually, it’s not all that impressive. What we have here is another brainless apologist with absolutely no clue about the matter he purports to be an expert on. All this nutjob has done is copy and paste from a Zionist propaganda site. A complete response to this drivel will take time. For now, it suffices to refute a few idiotic claims. Here’s quick and easy refutation of the claim that:

“Furthermore, verse 2:52 is remarkable in its assertion that Allah also FORGAVE their transgression.”

Yes, Allah (swt) forgave the Jews of Moses’ time for their transgression of worshiping the golden calf. But then a few verses later, the Quran states that they returned to their sinning ways! Oh, the Zionisst pig forgot that part, didn’t he?

“And [recall] when We said, “Enter this city and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly and say, ‘Relieve us of our burdens.’ We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward].” But those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.” (2:58-59)

And then a few verses later, it again states:

“And [recall] when you said, “O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions.” [Moses] said, “Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked.” And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing.” (2:61)

And the later, the Quran also states that the Jews altered the scriptures:

“So woe to those who write the “scripture” with their own hands, then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.” (2:79)

To further refute the silly argument that the Jews were promised the Holy Land and were forgiven all their sins, Surah 17:8 states that Allah (swt) warned the Jews:

“It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed.””

So this is a warning to the Jews not to reject the message of Islam, for if they do, they will be thrown into hell. And of course, in Islam, there are no divisions based on ethnicity. A Jew who converts to Islam becomes part of the global Ummah.

As for the “chosen people” nonsense, the Quran states that the Jews were favored among other nations AT THE TIME. But now, with the coming of Islam as a global religion, the Jews must accept it like all people, if they want to avoid hell. So rather, the believers (Muslims) are the chosen people:

You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.” (3:110)

“And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.” (22:78)

“Say, [O Muhammad], “Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him?”” (27:59)

So this refutes the garbage that the Zionists spew to deceive the gullible masses. Islam has destroyed the lies of the unbelievers and exposed them for their deception. Alhamdulillah!

Interestingly, the evidence you provided proved that the Bible has an internal contradiction about which law should be followed. The Tanakh does not officially teach abrogation. Tanakh is a book that was finished hundreds of years ago, yet it seems more contradictions are being discovered, adding to the hundreds of contradictions that were discovered before.
