Twitter Tales: Do the Reliance of the Traveler & other Islamic books promote pedophilia? (Part 2)

Part 2 of my response to brainless Christians on Twitter looks at an alleged statement in a book called "Bahisti Zewar" by Maulana Ashraf Thanvi that "allowed" sexual intercourse with children. I also debunk the Christian lies about Surah at-Talaq, 65:4 and demonstrate that the Bible considered early puberty (before the onset of menstruation) as …

NEW VIDEO: “Herem Warfare and the Bible”

The Bible's violent verses are well-known. While Christians and Jews offer different explanations for "problematic" verses like 1 Samuel 15:3 (the Amalekite genocide), they still end up trying to justify infanticide and mass murder. So the moral problem remains. But it runs much deeper. There is an even more sinister aspect of the violence in …

A further comment on Jesus the messiah, Isaiah 53, Psalm 22

Blogging Theology

Christians point ‘to passages in the Bible that talked about one who suffered and was then vindicated, passages such as Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22. Jews, though, had a ready response: these passages are not talking about the messiah. And you can see by reading them for yourself, in fact the word messiah never occurs in them.
