In Episode III, the minions of the Dark Side are refuted on their blatant lie that that their savior “gave hope to the oppressed”. Not only did the Biblical Jesus not do anything to confront oppressors, he actually made a false prophecy by appealing to a passage in the book of Isaiah. Who really gave hope to the oppressed? And actually did something to confront their oppressors? It was not the Biblical Jesus. The intellectual war against the Dark Side continues, young padawans.

    Yeah, this one hurt, lol. Seriously the best if you REALLY stretch it is he comforted the oppression against the lepers and MAYBE (And its a strong maybe) the Pharisees “taking” money for sacrifices (but the reality is they needed to exchange those pagan coins so…). So at best Wood can only claim a stalemate so the point is dropped either way.

    But as you noted not a word said to the Romans and they were still persecuted after Jesus’s(as)ascension.

        Indeed. I’ve noticed this is a pattern with Wood’s missionary types is to pad” things. So like you noted in the video he used I think 3-5 “points” to discuss miracles that have no basis on one’s superiority. It is a classic gish gallop fallacy to make it seem more impressive to the audience who’s taking him as an authority on the matter.

    can someone explain to this pagan crosstian that act of “speaking” “calling” is something that ALLAH created . so if jesus spoke, his voice and breath were created.
