This is a spectacular find. Archaeologists have discovered an open-air mosque in the Negev desert. The mosque has no roof, but only a niche facing south toward Mecca and short walls to enclose the prayer area. This further demonstrates that a mosque did not have to be a building. In fact, this mosque is an open-air mosque just like Al-Masjid Al-Haram, Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, and Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.
