        “You will overthrow every fortified city and every major town. You will cut down every good tree, stop up all the springs, and ruin every good field with stones” (2 Kings 3:19)

The land of Moab was not to be occupied by them, therefore they were bidden to destroy everything in it.

    Last time I checked the Hijaz is not the Holy Land. So we see another incident of someone speaking without knowledge. Again though rape, genocide, and pillaging are okay but Prophet Muhammad(saw) cutting some trees is a problem got it.

        Respond: When we read (Deut 20:10) the verse is clear to fight against the enemies offering peace treaty at the first place. This is read in the (Deut 2:26-28) when Moses offered peace and money for bread and water to Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon. But the king was adamant to put up a fight (Deut 2:32). Moses fought only in self-defense by making a peaceful treaty same with Og the king of Bashan (Deut 3:1). So, why did Moses kill the infants??? If you read (Deut 20:10-14) the women and the little ones or infants are spared but there is a criteria that only the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; (Deut 20:17) should be wiped out including the infants. It was not the same when we read Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon (Deut 2:26) who was offered the peace treaty initially. Therefore, when we look into the bigger picture Moses who authored the Torah, walks on the footstep of God Almighty who destroyed every living being on earth including infants. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the massive Global Flood did not guarantee the survival of any living creature including infants.

        2. In contrast to this “evidence” we have amazing archaeological evidence for the city of Iram, which was lost to history and regarded as a myth by Western scholars, until it was discovered. The Quran mentions this city. Thus, the Quran is confirmed by archaeological evidence.

        3. The Birmingham Quran is from the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

        4. Hanuman ran away when I asked him for just ONE manuscript from the 1st century CE for his NT. Of course, that’s because there are none.

        5. Dan Gibson is a fraud and pseudoscholar who has been thoroughly refuted by David King.

        And as the Cambridge commentary states, the word does not mean “weeping”, although if it did, it still would not disqualify Mecca since that was the location of Hagar and Ishmael’s trials. But the word doesn’t mean that anyway. It refers to the trees that grow there. Mecca fits the bill perfectly.

    Yes, I know the standard answer that’s not what I meant. Let me try to explain it like this, we obviously have shown we disagree on a lot like is Muhammad(saw) a prophet. Cool let’s put that to the side for now and talk about things we agree on. I’m going to list attributes about God I believe he has and you tell me whether you agree or disagree, it’s okay if you do just explain to me why. Our Lord is:

    1. All Knowing- Meaning He is never ignorant about something.
    2. All Hearing and Seeing- Meaning He sees and hears everything that has happened, is happening right now, will happen in the future and what could’ve happened all at the same time.
    3. Independent- Meaning he does not need to eat, drink, sleep, have sex, get tired etc.

    Do you agree with these things or no?

      If you read minutely lets look into the order no one knows
      Angels
      Son
      only Father.

      Here, Jesus is not saying the “Word” or the “Spirit” doesn’t know only Father but he names the created being angels who are supreme to human.

      Secondly, with the verse we can read that Jesus is fully human this is why he says “Son” that is the human nature doesn’t know. This is why Jesus is fully man and fully God at the same time.

      if Jesus would had told the “Word” and the “Spirit” doesn’t know only Father then that would be an embarrassment. But the text is very clear, the created beings angels and the flesh doesn’t know. So, conclusion the human nature doesn’t know, i.e, flesh not the “Word” according (Jn 1).

      You seemed to be a sensible person. And i would like to chat with you without any attacks.

        Thank you Zoze, I agree with everything you said and don’t want to attack either because at the end if the day this is about us worshipping and pleasing God not to argue and be arrogant and I think we lose sight of that because we’re passionate.

        So anyways I read what you talked about and I have some points:
        1.If the “Son” doesn’t know something at any point in time he by definition doesn’t have the attribute of being All Knowing and can’t be God.

        2. I am NOT saying Jesus(as) doesn’t mean anything. I am saying we both know that if the Devil can’t get us on the big things he tries to go for smaller ones. So he tempted people to exaggerate about a righteous servant in order to lead them to idolatry (which again we both know is one of the worst sins)

      3. Matthew 24:36 clearly states that only the Father knows when the hour will come. That means that even the holy spirit doesn’t know, and thus cannot be God. “Only the Father” means just that. Only He knows, and no one else.
