A while back, I had written a response to Jack Chick’s tract “Allah Had No Son” and posted it on YouTube where a pathetic “Chickie” operated. After proceeding to destroy his measly defense of Jack Chick, this Christian zombie ran away for a while only to resurface ocasionally now and then. I have been having a tit-for-tat conversation with him on YouTube and have repeatedly challenged him to come on the blog and attempt to defend the Bible and Christianity. I have challenged him on many topics on the Bible, like scientific errors. Thus far, the pathetic crybaby has been stalling on answering my challenge, so I am posting this invitation to hopefully lure him out of his cave. Let’s see if he takes the bait…😁

    Please do me a favor and listen to that chapter in Arabic for me real quick because I would like you to hear something and explain the error in your “joke” real quick:

    This is what is called “rhetoric” in writing. The background to the chapter you’re mocking is the pagan Arab’s leaders wanted to compromise with the Prophet(saw). “Hey will worship God for a year then our gods next year. Then will worship God again then our gods.” he said no. They then tried the same thing for a month, week and day. Remember this because it’ll be important in a sec

    “Binarity” or “bi-polarity” as a rhetoric instrument plays a huge role in the Quran. This is when you put two opposite linguistic/semantic elements alongside one another to produce certain emotions for the readers.

    Almost all words of Surah 109, expect entire first ayah, are repeated at least once. What is a purpose of that? What is the function of that repeating in Surah 109?

    Like how the pagans were going one year ours one year yours, God is mocking them with the repetition of belief and disbelief and the pronouns with them I and You, Mine and Yours.

    Secondly, delayed repetition serves as a tool to enhance the contextual effect and give emphasized knowledge of a fact that unbelievers will never be the same as believers (You are not worshiping what I worship).

    Thirdly, the constant appearance of “what” highlights the importance of the subject and enhances the given statement. The repetitiveness in Arabic also says about “the degree of the speakers” commitment and attitude. You leaders are evil and will NEVER believe.

    This Surah ’s rhetorical core is essentially a highly repetitive text framed in a binary model which is done in order to make an emphasis on the significance of the difference between believers and unbelievers.

    Another small remark regarding this Chapter should be made. People mistake the last verse to mean “Oh you can worship what you want and I can worship what I want no need to fight.”

    The root d-y-n can also be translated as “reckoning” which gives a new meaning this verse.

    “A reckoning for you and a reckoning for me” gives the implication meaning that everyone will “receive a just and final reckoning at the proper time”

    When was this Surah revealed? After a decade of calling these people to God kindly despite them torturing and killing the Muslims. At this point God is telling His Prophet(saw) to tell them to keep it up, you keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep up what I’m doing and eventually you all won’t be colliding with words, it’s going to be a colliding with the sword. God is giving a foreshadow to the conflict that’s about to come.

    Finally, the end of this Surah corresponds with the beginning of the next one.

    Lakum DEENukum wa-liya DEEN.
    For you be your RELIGION and its reckoning for me is my RELIGION and it’s reckoning.

    Next chapter 110:1-2
    wa-rara aytan nas sa yadkhul la fee deen ilafi afwaja
    When God’s Help comes and you see the people entering God’s RELIGION in crowds.

    So the reckoning is the Message won’t stop, in the end the disbelievers will fail and the people will enter Gods religion in crowds.

    Yes, the rhetoric of the Qur’an is VERY powerful but sometimes it’s hard to emulate that into English. And please keep in mind I’ve barely scratched the surface of the chapter I’m just explaining the mistake in your mockery. May God guide us to the path most pleasing to Him.

  5. The singer sounds like a goat trying to pass some papers it ate. I put my ear next to the bible and it didn’t say anything. Some “people” say it is 6000 yrs old, “others” say it is much older. Since YHWH does not mention how much time ticked off, I cannot say that the bible “says” the earth is 6000 yrs old. Hoy, how come you are not jewish? Didn’t muhammad say the shahada for the torah??

Since the Bible provides a detailed genealogy starting from Adam,[27] it becomes clear that from the first day of Creation to the present day, only about 6,000 years have gone by.[28]  In other words, according to the Bible, the Earth is only about 6,000 years old.  Given the scientific evidence presented above, the Biblical claim is a clear error.  

                  However, some Christians have argued that the age of the Earth cannot be determined from the genealogies and hence argue that the Biblical genealogies should not be taken literally.[29]  Instead, they argue that when the genealogy refers to “father” and “son”, it could also be referring to an “ancestor” and a “descendant” and hence, we cannot know how many years had lapsed from Adam to Abraham.  While it is true that the Hebrew word “ab” can mean both a literal “father” and “ancestor”,[30] and the word “ben” can mean both a literal “son”and “descendant”,[31] this argument fails for some very simple reasons in the case of the genealogies. 

                  First, if the Biblical figures mentioned in the genealogies of Genesis 5 and 11 are not necessarily “father” and “son”, then it means that the genealogies have gaps which can exceed thousands of generations (if we attempt to harmonize the Bible with science).  If that is true, then these genealogies have no meaning and we have to question why they are even part of scripture.[32]  What would be the point of mentioning a genealogy which separates two people by hundreds or thousands of generations?  

                  Second, the context of the genealogies indicates that nothing other than a literal father-son relationship is implied.  As “Answers in Genesis” points out:

      “…additional biographical information in Genesis 5 and 11 strongly supports the view that there are no gaps in these chapters. So we know for certain that the following are literal father/son relationships: Adam/Seth, Seth/Enosh, Lamech/Noah, Noah/Shem, Eber/Peleg, and Terah/Abram. Nothing in these chapters indicates that the “X begat Y” means something other than a literal father/son relationship.”[33]

      Put schematically, we can see that from Adam to Shem in the Genesis 5 genealogy, six of the eleven names mentioned are clearly linked in literal father-son relationships:

      Adam–Seth–Enosh-Kenan-Mahalel-Jared-Enoch-Methusaleh-Lamech–Noah–Shem

      Thus, why would we assume that the other five names are also not linked by the same relationships?  In fact, the New Testament helps us to lock in Kenan, Mahalel, Jared and Enoch in literal father-son relationships as well.[34]  According to Jude 1:14, Enoch was the “seventh from Adam”:

      “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones…”

      If Enoch was the “seventh from Adam”, it means he was Adam’s great-great-great-great-grandson, which makes Jared the great-great-great-grandson and so on.  Therefore, ten of the eleven names are now linked, with only Methuselah left:  

      Adam (1)–Seth (2)–Enosh (3)–Kenan (4)–Mahalel (5)–Jared (6)–Enoch (7)-Methusaleh-Lamech–Noah–Shem

      Keeping the “ancestor-descendant” argument in mind, there is nothing outside of Genesis 5 which clearly links Methuselah as Enoch’s literal son, even though he is mentioned in other genealogies as the son of Enoch (and that is all the context really allows).[35]  Nevertheless, it is clear that the other names are all part of literal father-son relationships and not “ancestor-descendant” relationships, and thus, Enoch and Methusaleh should be no different.  Now let us look at the genealogy in Genesis 11.

                  The genealogy goes like this:

      Shem-Arphaxad-Shelah-Eber-Peleg-Reu-Serug-Nahor-Terah-Abraham

      We already know that Eber/Peleg and Terah/Abraham have literal father-son relationships.  That leaves six names unaccounted for.  Yet, we can also add Shem and Arphaxad because it is clear that Shem was the father of Arphaxad and not his “ancestor”, as is clear from Genesis 11:10, which states that Shem “fathered” Arphaxad only two years after the flood:

      “This is the account of Shem’s family line. Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father of Arphaxad.”

      Hence, six of the ten names are now linked:

      Shem–Arphaxad-Shelah-Eber–Peleg-Reu-Serug-Nahor-Terah–Abraham

      But Shelah can certainly be added since it would not make sense to place a distant “ancestor” between Arphaxad and Eber.  Indeed, why would we assume that Shelah was perhaps only a distant “ancestor” of Eber or that Reu was a distant “descendant” of Peleg?  Similarly, why would we assume that the other three are also not linked?  Clearly, there is no rhyme or reason to claiming that “ab” and “ben” had any other meaning other than as literal “father” and “son”, respectively.  Indeed, out of the twenty names mentioned in Genesis 5 and 11, from Adam to Abraham, sixteen can be undoubtedly linked.  Based on this undeniable proof, the only reasonable conclusion is that when we add the number of years together in these genealogies, we can calculate the age of the earth as being around 6,000 years.

        Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar:

        A group of Jews came and invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Quff. So he visited them in their school.

        They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.

        He then said: Bring me one who is learned among you. Then a young man was brought. The transmitter then mentioned the rest of the tradition of stoning similar to the one transmitted by Malik from Nafi'(No. 4431).

Abdul, 2 strawmans don’t make your premise true, but they do make you a certified wannabe. A wannabe is a japanese plant that lives off of instant hay and dehydrated water. What standard are you using for the comparison? The quran? Science? Embarrassed, me? Your “argument” is as if you’re biting your own big toe and asking me to cry uncle. Or is it, the earth is much older than 6000 yrs old, I cannot be saved? Obviously Islam will not save me because I cannot know since my salvation and damnation was predetermined when I was a haploid.       1. 😆 still not getting it, eh? I know, I know. Your holy spirit is a couple of wrenches short of a tool chest, so we’ll try again. As Atlas explained, the Shahadah refers to believing in Allah and His Messenger. We also believe in all the scriptures that were revealed by Allah. That includes the Torah, but not the corrupted version that we have today. Believing in the Torah makes us Muslims, because we submit to God.

        Now, back to the topic. Why does your corrupted Bible say that the earth is 6000 years old? We know the earth is actually 4 billion years old, so the Bible is wrong. Why should anyone trust their salvation to such a book? Answer the question, snowflake. 😁

        No one is carrying two contrary beliefs. And you still can’t answer a single question brought forth. What else are we supposed to think other then you being braindead? We believe in the Torah but not its preservasion. Even your own scholars are wripping your bible apart as we speak. Multiple different sources were used for the Torah that we have today. Sources that contradict one another. Textual critics say this about the Torah all the time. Sad. No, it’s pathetic.

        Uh… the context to this hadith is the Jews knew that the punishment for adultery was stoning in the Torah. They were coming to the Prophet(saw) to get around this and expected Islam to have a different ruling. If he(saw) gave a nicer ruling they would take that and if he gave a harsher ruling they would reject it. They then asked for judgment and the Prophet(saw) gave them the judgment from the Torah. Which makes sense given they aren’t Muslim and we have the same law in this regard thus circumventing their trick.

        But dhc I’m going to respectfully tap out here with our discussion, God guides whomever He wishes.

        25:63. The servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and who, when those who have no control over their emotions speak to them, they reply only peace.

        10:99. Had your Lord wished, every single person on earth would have believed. So can you force people to believe?
        10:100. No one will believe except by God’s permission, He makes filth settle on those who do not use their intellect.

        I would just argue t a more fundamental level. The Bible has proven forgeries in it (ending of Mark 16:9-20, Lady taken in adultery John 7:53–8:11) why should anyone trust the book’s reliability?

      Since the Bible provides a detailed genealogy starting from Adam,[27] it becomes clear that from the first day of Creation to the present day, only about 6,000 years have gone by.[28]  In other words, according to the Bible, the Earth is only about 6,000 years old.  Given the scientific evidence presented above, the Biblical claim is a clear error.  

                  However, some Christians have argued that the age of the Earth cannot be determined from the genealogies and hence argue that the Biblical genealogies should not be taken literally.[29]  Instead, they argue that when the genealogy refers to “father” and “son”, it could also be referring to an “ancestor” and a “descendant” and hence, we cannot know how many years had lapsed from Adam to Abraham.  While it is true that the Hebrew word “ab” can mean both a literal “father” and “ancestor”,[30] and the word “ben” can mean both a literal “son”and “descendant”,[31] this argument fails for some very simple reasons in the case of the genealogies. 

                  First, if the Biblical figures mentioned in the genealogies of Genesis 5 and 11 are not necessarily “father” and “son”, then it means that the genealogies have gaps which can exceed thousands of generations (if we attempt to harmonize the Bible with science).  If that is true, then these genealogies have no meaning and we have to question why they are even part of scripture.[32]  What would be the point of mentioning a genealogy which separates two people by hundreds or thousands of generations?  

                  Second, the context of the genealogies indicates that nothing other than a literal father-son relationship is implied.  As “Answers in Genesis” points out:

      “…additional biographical information in Genesis 5 and 11 strongly supports the view that there are no gaps in these chapters. So we know for certain that the following are literal father/son relationships: Adam/Seth, Seth/Enosh, Lamech/Noah, Noah/Shem, Eber/Peleg, and Terah/Abram. Nothing in these chapters indicates that the “X begat Y” means something other than a literal father/son relationship.”[33]

      Put schematically, we can see that from Adam to Shem in the Genesis 5 genealogy, six of the eleven names mentioned are clearly linked in literal father-son relationships:

      Adam–Seth–Enosh-Kenan-Mahalel-Jared-Enoch-Methusaleh-Lamech–Noah–Shem

      Thus, why would we assume that the other five names are also not linked by the same relationships?  In fact, the New Testament helps us to lock in Kenan, Mahalel, Jared and Enoch in literal father-son relationships as well.[34]  According to Jude 1:14, Enoch was the “seventh from Adam”:

      “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones…”

      If Enoch was the “seventh from Adam”, it means he was Adam’s great-great-great-great-grandson, which makes Jared the great-great-great-grandson and so on.  Therefore, ten of the eleven names are now linked, with only Methuselah left:  

      Adam (1)–Seth (2)–Enosh (3)–Kenan (4)–Mahalel (5)–Jared (6)–Enoch (7)-Methusaleh-Lamech–Noah–Shem

      Keeping the “ancestor-descendant” argument in mind, there is nothing outside of Genesis 5 which clearly links Methuselah as Enoch’s literal son, even though he is mentioned in other genealogies as the son of Enoch (and that is all the context really allows).[35]  Nevertheless, it is clear that the other names are all part of literal father-son relationships and not “ancestor-descendant” relationships, and thus, Enoch and Methusaleh should be no different.  Now let us look at the genealogy in Genesis 11.

                  The genealogy goes like this:

      Shem-Arphaxad-Shelah-Eber-Peleg-Reu-Serug-Nahor-Terah-Abraham

      We already know that Eber/Peleg and Terah/Abraham have literal father-son relationships.  That leaves six names unaccounted for.  Yet, we can also add Shem and Arphaxad because it is clear that Shem was the father of Arphaxad and not his “ancestor”, as is clear from Genesis 11:10, which states that Shem “fathered” Arphaxad only two years after the flood:

      “This is the account of Shem’s family line. Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father of Arphaxad.”

      Hence, six of the ten names are now linked:

      Shem–Arphaxad-Shelah-Eber–Peleg-Reu-Serug-Nahor-Terah–Abraham

      But Shelah can certainly be added since it would not make sense to place a distant “ancestor” between Arphaxad and Eber.  Indeed, why would we assume that Shelah was perhaps only a distant “ancestor” of Eber or that Reu was a distant “descendant” of Peleg?  Similarly, why would we assume that the other three are also not linked?  Clearly, there is no rhyme or reason to claiming that “ab” and “ben” had any other meaning other than as literal “father” and “son”, respectively.  Indeed, out of the twenty names mentioned in Genesis 5 and 11, from Adam to Abraham, sixteen can be undoubtedly linked.  Based on this undeniable proof, the only reasonable conclusion is that when we add the number of years together in these genealogies, we can calculate the age of the earth as being around 6,000 years.

      Genesis 1 states that the act of creation took 6 days.[6]  During this period, the heavens and the Earth were created and the latter was populated with plants and animals as well as the first humans (Adam and Eve).  This conflicts with scientific data since it is firmly established that the formation of the universe and even the Earth took billions of years.  For example, the scientific consensus is that the Earth:

      “…began to take shape slightly over 4.5 billion years ago.  Within 50 million years, its core had formed and, in turn, generated a magnetic field.  However, it was not until the atmosphere and surface of the crust were relatively stable, about 3.8 billion years ago, that life had a good chance to evolve and thrive.”[7]

      Some Christians have objected to the claim that the Bible describes the creation of the world in six literal days.[8]  They refer to Psalm 90:4, which states that a day was not necessarily a literal 24-hour period:

      “A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.”

      Yet even if a day was 1,000 years, it would still not agree with scientific facts since “six days” would be like “six thousand years”.  The creation of the universe took billions of years.[9]  Moreover, other passages in the Bible clearly show that a day was really a 24-hour day.  For example:

      ““Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”[10]

      We can see very clearly that a regular day like the Sabbath is compared to the seventh day of Creation when God allegedly “rested” and that the six days wherein laboring was allowed are compared to the six days of Creation.  If the seventh “day” was supposed to be thousands or even millions of years long, the comparison to the Sabbath of the Israelites would not be appropriate.  Similarly, if the six “days” of Creation were supposed to be thousands or millions of years, the comparison to the six-day work week of the Israelites would not be appropriate.

        I will answer your question. Why do I trust in the atonement stories? I will start with the prophecy from Jeremiah 31:31-34. the gist of it is as follows: the Lord said that he would make a new covenant with Israel and Judah since they broke the old covenant with Moses. The old covenant was about duty and following a procedure. The new covenant would place the law of YHWH into the heart and soul of the people and renew their relationship with YHWH through the last atonement. The lamb of YHWH was the last atonement. Jesus is the lamb of YHWH, John 1:1 -14. Jesus was crucified, Mark 10: 32-34. Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day, Luke 24.
        In John 14:6 Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” That is the gospel. Salvation is a free gift from YHWH, by grace through faith and not of your own works, lest any man boast. The torah and the gospel are tied together through atonement.

        So you have a humongous problem. 29:46 & 3:3-4 you’re commanded to acknowledge the torah, instead you say it’s corrupt. But 18:27 says its impossible to corrupt the words. Yet you still claim corruption. 7:157 says the torah and the gospel are good to go & 5:47,68 says I should judge by the gospel (on a side note schlomo told me that jesus says in the gospel ” i am a good person and i love mom”, lol) so mo, the jews and the christians acknowledge the torah and the gospel. And you are in doubt then ask the jews and christians for they know, 10:94. The quran affirms the torah and the gospel.
