The article “The Genealogy of Jesus: Examining the Gospel Accounts of the Bloodline of the Messiah” has been partially re-written and updated with additional references, but with no change in the final conclusion. 

            Also, as part of our commitment to honest and objective research, we would like to point out that in the original article, it was erroneously written that Luke used Matthew as one of his sources for writing his gospel.  This is incorrect, as it is a scholarly consensus that Luke wrote his gospel independently of Matthew, although they both used the Q Gospel as one of their sources.  Hence, this error has been removed from the article.
